I’m pausing an editing marathon to bring you Hannah & Louis’ Cornwall wedding from earlier in the year.
You may have seen snippets from it across my Instagram feed already because it was such a great wedding.
Despite being a typically drizzly Cornish day I think that only added to the atmosphere of the day. If it had been sunny then you wouldn’t be able to see the richness of the landscape, the moody nature of the sea and the texture in the stone and bricks used to build those weather beaten houses.
Mousehole is one of my favourite places in Cornwall having had a couple of short breaks there staying at The Old Coastguard, so when Hannah and Louis got in touch and said they were getting married just up the road in Paul then I was already really excited to be heading back to this part of the world. Besides Cornwall is such a great place for wedding photography so why wouldn’t I be excited.
There was so much to love about Hannah & Louis’ wedding. Hannah got ready at her parent’s house just yards from the seafront at Penzance and I instantly fell in love with it. Such lovely touches around the home in terms of decor and style and what about the colour of those walls in the living room?
And get this, Hannah’s hair was done by her Dad. What an amazing thing for both of them and particularly her Dad to be involved so closely in his daughters wedding.
