Have you ever played Animal Bingo? Well unless you were at Lizzie and Laurence’s Old Oak Farm wedding in June this year I am guessing you haven’t. The basic premise, everyone gets an animal with their name on it as their place setting. A selection of animals is read out and if 5 people on your table have a matching animal you win. Genius. If it’s a tie, then you have to do your best impression of a Flamingo to win the loot for your table.
But that wasn’t the only great thing about The Fox’s wedding. The Somerset wedding venue, Old Oak Farm in Curry Rivel, was perfectly rustic. Lizzie’s Laure De Sagazan dress, bought from The Mews boutique in Clifton, was a sight to behold and every single hand crafted detail had been meticulously planned. Don’t forget the Bridesmaids either, they looked gorgeous in their dresses from Cherry Williams of London and of course the Groom was most handsome in his outfit from Reiss UK.
When Laurence got up and delivered his speech, stood atop a table outside, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. And the cake…oh that cake. well you would expect nothing less from the Cookery Editor at Good Housekeeping Magazine.
This truly was a tale of the Fantastic Mr & Mrs Fox.
